Connected Health Cities (CHC) were delighted to exhibit at the NHS Expo, which took place at Manchester Central earlier this month. Over the course of two days, more than 5,000 delegates from the NHS, academia, the voluntary sector and industry came together to share learning, foster collaborative partnerships and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the NHS.
The busy event schedule featured an impressive line-up of influential key note speakers, such as Simon Stevens (CEO; NHS England), Matt Hancock MP (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care), and Professor Jane Cummings (Chief Nursing Officer for England and Executive Director at NHS England).
Researchers from each of the four CHC regions presented an overview of their projects, demonstrating the crucial role of health data research in improving health services and patient outcomes in the North of England.
